Colbert Loses to Obama in Marvel Universe US Presidential Elections
Yup, apparently, Obama is also US president in the Marvel universe. Joe Quesada, editor in chief of Marvel comics, said that the Marvel universe has always reflected what happens in the real world.
The kicker, however, is that Marvel initially released a Daily Bugle (the newspaper where Spiderman works) image claiming that Colbert won. As it turns out, it was a premature claim by the Marvel Colbert–caused by a mismatch in electoral and popular votes like the last US presidential elections and of course, by Marvel Colbert’s hubris.
Later, however, it turned out the Obama is also president in the Marvel universe. Marvel Colbert maintains, however that the Marvel Obama is a Skrull.
