Crossing Over
If you haven’t noticed it yet, Hostile Takeover is marking an ‘end’ of sorts in Geeks. Unlike some of the events in the mainstream comic book universes, this event will really change the status quo. For good. But since I can’t draw the damn thing fast enough, I thought I’d gradually release installments over time. Though I have been able to release an episode every last Wednesday of the month, I can’t guarantee that frequency for the rest of the mini-series (but I will try).
Now, since the geeks’ lives will permanently be changed by the events in Hostile Takeover, I thought it’s time to make some changes. I can’t keep writing about [these] computer engineers as–if you haven’t noticed it yet–I’m no longer employed by the Company. I also can’t write about my current company; it’s not just funny enough (but it is a fun place).
Anyway, things will be in flux for a while or maybe permanently–I can’t tell yet. Let’s just hope that we’ll all enjoy this ride as Hostile Takeover marks the end of these Geeks’ chapter of their lives and usher in a new one–chapter or other Geeks’ lives.
